  • I needed to still include the pictures from the Kauri Forest from yesterday. These are native trees that are now protected. Some of the trees in this forest were 800 years old

I left the Green House and Coromandel today. Gwyneth and me visited every beach on the coast down it seems. There is one perfect beach after the other. Beautiful, quaint beach towns. Our destination was Whitianga where Gwyneth has a bach, (New Zealand for cottage).

Because it is the long weekend in New Zealand everything in town is booked solid. I can stay with Gwyneth for two days and head on towards Tairua and beyond.

    Pictured to your right: clockwise:

    • here is Gwyneth's bach, on the river leading to the sea in Whitianga.
