I didn't really believe for absolutely sure that I could work while living on Savary Island. Party lines didn't help this dream. But then the big new cable was put under the ocean, and new possibilites presented themselves for me. I do believe it now.

But comeon already. After weathering the 4th worst storm in history right before Christmas and seeing several of my neighbours cottages thumped by falling trees. After rain, rain rain and deafening south-easterly winds, its time to expand horizons again. For a month anyway.

Warmth. Sand beaches, Internet connection. Sun. I want to put my blue tropical shorts and speedo on again.

    Pictured to your right:

    • me wishing the rain would stop
    • me sitting there looking at the mist and more rain on the way
    • me saying goodbye to my sentry at the bottom or my driveway
